A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

K&D is looking for hard-working Custodial Technicians to join the Maintenance Team at Trinity Towers. Candidates who have prior experience in Residential Cleaning or Janitorial roles are encouraged to apply! Candidates will join the Maintenance Team and will be trained by a designated Trainer as well as their Direct Supervisor on company policy. During this initial training period, policy review will cover Chemical Safety, Daily Tasks, Custodial Duties and the Suite Preparation process. Technicians are expected to complete assigned duties timely and within guidelines. Essential duties include cleaning of common areas such as lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, offices and resident amenities. Technicians will vacuum, sweep or mop as assigned by their Direct Supervisor to ensure cleanliness throughout the site. Additionally, assist with preparing vacant suites by making them market ready alongside the Maintenance Team. A willingness to work as a team and maintain a collaborative mentality will aid in accomplishing tasks collectively. Custodial Technicians should maintain and properly handle chemicals per guidelines. Candidates will monitor and request supplies with their Director Supervisor as needed for their regularly assigned tasks and any periodic deep cleaning.
Introduction & Benefits Eligibility:
Within the initial 30-Day Introductory Period, Employees are trained for their position by experienced and designated trainers on their job duties. Custodial Technicians will be provided with hands-on training with our Site Maintenance Director or otherwise designated Staff. In addition, Candidates are shown any chemical supply rooms, product storage, and procedures applicable to Janitorial or Housekeeping duties. All K&D Employees will be evaluated at the conclusion of their initial 2 Weeks and full 4 Weeks by their Direct Supervisor in various criteria such as: Attendance, Uniform, Company Policy & Work Performance. Employees will be asked to maintain positive review while within this onboarding period. Opportunities for growth include Tuition Reimbursement, where Employees may apply for consideration of any course or license related to their role to be reimbursed by K&D Policy.
