Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Custodian to join our team. As a Assistant Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our students, staff and community.

Responsibilities:

Clean Classrooms and Hallways Dustmop floors Change trash Mop floors Clean restrooms Answer calls on radio Coordinate floor scrubbing at least 3 times a week Maintain clean classroom desk Clean stairs Check around doors, recycling, pencil sharpners for dust and debris Move items with wheels to dust and clean After school activities

• assist with setup Assist other custodians with cleaning

Requirements:

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and respond to inquiries or requests
