Job Description

Our newCelinaElementary School is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join the Custodial team. Celina Schools is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. This person will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our new building. This position is a 260-day employee and earns vacation days, has personal days, and accrues sick leave. 3rd Shift 10pm-6:30am with a 30 minute lunch

Starting hourly rate: $15.23/hour & will consider comparable experience for salary schedule placement

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas.

Snow removal

Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and activities.

Respond to cleaning emergencies.

Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good condition.

Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
