Position Summary Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Maintenance / Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of our manufacturing facility, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and surrounding property. This position combines routine janitorial responsibilities with basic building maintenance and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cleaning and Janitorial Duties Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, entrances, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces. Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other facility supplies. Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed. Maintain cleanliness around production and warehouse areas without interfering with operations. Clean up spills promptly and place appropriate warning signs when necessary. Keep janitorial closets, tools, and supplies clean and organized. General Maintenance Duties Perform minor building repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing doors, tightening hardware, and fixing minor plumbing issues. Inspect the facility regularly and report safety hazards, damage, leaks, or equipment problems to management. Assist with basic preventive maintenance tasks. Assemble, move, or repair office furniture, shelving, and other facility items. Maintain exterior areas, including entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and loading areas. Remove snow and ice and apply salt to sidewalks and entrances when necessary. Assist with lawn care, debris removal, and other seasonal property maintenance. Assist with setting up rooms or work areas for meetings, training, or company events. Perform other maintenance, cleaning, and facility-related duties as assigned. Work Schedule This is a full-time position. The regular work schedule will be established based on the company's operational needs. Occasional overtime, early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required for special projects, emergencies, or weather-related maintenance.
