What You'll Be Doing As a Lead Technician, you'll lead a two-person crew providing professional kitchen exhaust cleaning services for restaurants and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and support an Assistant Technician during overnight services. Clean commercial kitchen hoods, filters, plenums, accessible ductwork, exhaust fans, curbs, and related systems. Safely operate pressure washers, cleaning chemicals, ladders, and professional equipment. Ensure proper jobsite protection, setup, cleanup, and customer property care. Identify and report deficiencies, maintenance concerns, inaccessible areas, and unsafe conditions. Complete accurate work orders, service reports, photos, and required documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and management. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Ensure every service is completed safely, efficiently, and to Koorsen's quality standards. What We're Looking For We want more than someone who knows how to clean a hood. We want a dependable leader who takes ownership of their crew and their work.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Must pass a background check and company-required pre-employment screening. Must be capable of driving a company vehicle during assigned shifts and meet Koorsen's vehicle insurance eligibility requirements. Must be available to work overnight between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM . Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs , with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, carrying equipment, pressure washing, and performing demanding field work. Previous commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning or comparable field-service experience required. Demonstrated leadership ability, strong communication skills, and good customer service. Must be comfortable using a smartphone for communication, photos, email, and company applications. Must follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and service procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning experience strongly preferred. Prior Lead Technician, Crew Leader, or supervisory experience. Knowledge of NFPA 96 and kitchen exhaust system maintenance. IKECA certifications or other relevant industry training. Experience training technicians and identifying system deficiencies. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Ready for Your Next Opportunity?
