FACILITY CLEANER

Maumee Valley Group - Defiance, OH $18.00/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Come join Maumee Valley Group as a Facility Cleaner and help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our employees and operations.

Job Duties:

Clean and sanitize 4 facility bathrooms Clean and maintain employee breakroom areas Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility Operate a commercial floor scrubber Clean and maintain common areas and other designated areas of the facility Empty trash and replace liners as needed Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished Complete routine cleaning tasks according to established schedules and standards Assist with cleaning the Fresh Food production floor at the end of the day, including mopping and other assigned cleaning duties Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures Report maintenance issues, damage, or other concerns to management Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other cleaning and facility-related duties as assigned

Schedule:

Full-Time Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred, but not required Ability to operate or learn to operate a commercial floor scrubber Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures Ability to perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning supplies and equipment as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday Ability to regularly lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including a floor scrubber Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and follow appropriate safety procedures
