Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and experience in custodial services to support our team's operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere where cleanliness and safety are prioritized. Responsibilities Washes windows and mirrors. Takes out the trash and recycling. Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces. Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms. Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors. Uses common cleaning tools and occasional outdoor power equipment. Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools. Completes minor repairs, like switching lightbulbs and unclogging toilets. Notifies the manager when major repairs are needed. Fills out janitorial checklists at the end of every shift. Follows safety rules and precautions. Adheres to company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as appropriate Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in all cleaning tasks. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods.
