A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in all assigned areas including lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; dust surfaces and clean windows. Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas. Set up and break down rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or special functions as needed. Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries throughout the facility. Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, reporting leaks, or other facility issues to management. Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as necessary. Support team members and other departments with facility-related needs
