First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Environmental Services Worker I supports patient care and safety by performing cleaning, sanitization, and waste management tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment in all areas of the healthcare facility. This role helps prevent infection and ensures operational reliability through adherence to established protocols and regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

None required.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of housekeeping, janitorial, or service-related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
