Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to maintain optimal floor condition. Handle various cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces across commercial facilities. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including floor buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Safely handle chemical agents used for cleaning and floor care, ensuring proper storage and disposal in accordance with safety guidelines. Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning processes. Execute specialized floor care procedures like carpet cleaning, floor waxing, and floor refinishing to enhance surface longevity. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply usage, and safety compliance to support operational efficiency and environmental standards. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial best practices. Skilled in the use of various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors. Expertise in handling floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively for different surfaces. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently. Knowledge of environmental services standards and eco-friendly cleaning practices. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or visitors. Ability to perform detailed floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and floor care routines that meet high-quality standards.
