Full-Time About Us Summit Valley Services is a professional commercial cleaning company focused on dependability, consistency, and quality service. We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Day Porter to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at a busy mixed-use facility in Westlake. Position Overview The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of outdoor common areas, public restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and shared facility spaces throughout the day. This position plays an important role in ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and presentable for tenants, visitors, and guests. Primary Responsibilities Monitor and maintain cleanliness throughout outdoor food court and common areas Pick up litter and debris throughout the property Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed Clean and maintain public restrooms throughout the shift Replenish restroom paper products, soap, and other consumables Clean and maintain stairwells and elevators Occasionally replenish restroom supplies in office building restrooms Spot clean high-traffic areas and respond to immediate cleaning needs Report maintenance or safety concerns to management Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while on site Qualifications Previous janitorial, porter, or custodial experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings Ability to remain active throughout the shift and work indoors/outdoors as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds What We Offer Consistent full-time hours Weekly pay Paid time off after 1 year of employment Stable long-term opportunity Supportive management team Opportunities for advancement within the company Apply Today If you take pride in keeping facilities clean and presentable and enjoy working independently in an active environment, we would love to hear from you.
