Job Description
This is a leadership position focused on maintaining a pristine environment throughout the casino, including the main gaming floors, corporate offices, and back-of-house areas. The EVS Lead will guide the work of other employees, ensure productivity, and oversee special cleaning projects. In addition to supervisory duties, this role also involves hands-on cleaning, basic equipment maintenance, and assisting guests with their needs. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred, with at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. The ability to obtain and maintain a license from the appropriate gaming authority. Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Oversees and maintains high standards of cleanliness in all casino operations and venues. Trains and coaches EVS Attendants to ensure they efficiently meet cleanliness standards. Ensures the productivity of the shift personnel and tracks staff time schedules to ensure proper coverage. Performs a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and trash removal. Identifies and coordinates maintenance repairs with the shift supervisor to ensure timely fixes. Performs basic maintenance on EVS equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and extractors. Assists guests by answering questions and providing directions.
