What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Skills / Requirements
Monday-Friday 6 AM-2:30 PM
Monday-Friday 5 PM-1:30 AM (2nd Shift Pay up to $14 per hour depending on experience)
Required Legally authorized to work in the United States 18 years or older Reliable transportation to and from work Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs Able to stand and walk for duration of shift
Must Pass Background check Essential Duties Clean/maintain floors (vacuum, mop, carpet spotting)
Clean/maintain surface areas (dust, sanitize, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing)
Remove waste (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
Use cleaning chemicals safely and adhere to all safety precautions when mixing cleaning solutions Represent facility in a positive manner, able to follow oral instructions, pleasant, tactful, courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, customers, security, and management Perform other general cleaning duties as needed
