Details:

Full-time evenings Weekends shifts every other weekend

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility is to provide a clean, sanitary, and pleasant hospital environment. Requires working in all areas of the facility or wherever assigned. Other responsibilities include daily documentation of work assignments and area completed, documenting patient care/non-patient care hours worked, and assisting in working with new employees and sharing knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer high school graduate or GED equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience helpful. Must be able to follow oral or written instructions. Knowledge and ability to use cleaning equipment. Must have a helpful, caring attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to work in a latex-burdened environment. Must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs., reach, pull, stoop, and bend. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, in order to record information and read labels accurately to prepare cleaning solutions. Able to verbally communicate effectively. Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
