Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to ensure spotless surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other common areas by sanitizing fixtures, surfaces, and trash removal. Utilize commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor polishers to deliver professional results. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in warehouses or manufacturing settings as needed, including debris removal and surface sanitation. Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance, including light repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly. Support portering responsibilities by moving furniture or equipment safely and efficiently within the premises. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain high-quality flooring standards. Familiarity with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus for versatile support roles. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures accurately. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
