Waste Connections is hiring a Roto-Rooter Driver/Technician to support essential environmental services. In this role, you will safely operate a service truck to perform drain cleaning, sewer line maintenance, and minor plumbing work for residential and commercial customers. You'll use mechanical and jetting equipment to diagnose and clear blockages while following strict safety and DOT guidelines. Responsibilities Safely operate service truck to customer locations on assigned routes Perform drain cleaning, sewer line clearing, and related maintenance services Use mechanical and hydro-jetting equipment to diagnose and clear blockages Conduct basic plumbing inspections and minor repairs as needed Follow all safety, DOT, and company operational procedures Complete work orders, service tickets, and basic digital documentation Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and pricing Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean, safe working condition Coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to prioritize daily work Support environmental and regulatory compliance standards on every job Required Skills Commercial driving and safe vehicle operation Drain and sewer line cleaning techniques Use of mechanical snakes and augers Hydro-jetting equipment operation Basic plumbing repair and diagnostics Jobsite safety and OSHA awareness DOT regulations and pre/post trip inspections Reading and completing work orders and tickets Customer communication and service etiquette Basic use of mobile apps or tablets for documentation
