Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, furniture, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed in designated areas Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure accountability and efficiency Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to commercial environments such as offices, retail spaces, or healthcare facilities is advantageous Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines Join our team and help create a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and productivity!
