Custodian Mountain Rose Herbs - 4.0 Eugene, OR Job Details Full-time From $19 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Cleaning and sanitation procedure implementation Driver's License Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description General Description This is a full-time position. The custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the buildings and grounds at all Mountain Rose Herbs locations. The custodian must possess an excellent understanding of, and a high degree of skill in, performing all tasks required within the facilities department. The starting wage for this position is $19.00/hr. (including the $1/hour shift differential) The hours for this position will be 1:30pm- 10:00pm Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Perform quick and accurate work with a strong attention to detail and efficiency. Communicate competently with their supervisors for any questions, concerns or issues that arise. Follow instructions and work well with others in a team orientated environment. Demonstrate efficient and thorough janitorial skills. Possess good organizational and time management skills. Shift gears at a moment's notice and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Be dependable - consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, and respond to management feedback. Be proactive - continue to develop skills, gain additional knowledge, and solicit feedback for improved performance. Follow all MRH procedures, policies, and protocols. Keep accurate and current cleaning logs which cover daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly responsibilities. Complete tasks within the designated time frame. Ensure that the recycling program is working efficiently and sort recyclable materials to assigned receptacles with minimal accumulation (and report any problems found) Stock and maintain paper products and cleaning supplies as necessary for each department. Assisting the Facilities Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, and Facilities Director with maintenance, construction, and repair issues as needed. Travel to all MRH locations and other local businesses for the completion of assigned tasks. Willingness to learn and perform new procedures and use new equipment/technologies. Possess a valid, clean Oregon Driver's License. Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Include but are not limited to : Working in a fast-paced environment with known hazards such as essential oil spills. Heavy Lifting may be required, up to 75 lbs, as well as moving heavy and/or large/bulky materials associated with the cleaning and other duties for the facilities. Bending at knees and at waist associated with retrieving or storing items. Being on one's feet most of the day. Pushing a loaded cart and moving/carrying necessary equipment. Exposure to herb dust and strong aromatics.
