What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Monarch is a family-owned metal manufacturing business in Medford and seeking to add another team member to our production crew. We are a small, close team with typically 10-15 people. We work hard and have a fast paced office, but strive for a positive work environment with a flexible work schedule for a balanced work/life. The ideal candidate will be used to working with their hands in a production environment and be organized, clean, detail-oriented and self motivated. Prior experience in metalwork or in a manufacturing facility is preferred. We are ideally looking for a part time worker but might consider a full time position depending on the tasks. Our operational hours are typically Monday
- Friday, 8:00am to 5pm, however we do have some flexibility as needed.
Tasks Include:
- Cleaning the warehouse area (sweeping, vacuuming & mopping)
- wiping down machines & equipment
- Helping with machine maintenance (compressor oil changes & lubrication schedules)
- Helping clean work stations/shop area
- Take care of general building/property maintenance.
- Other misc shop tasks Skills/requirements
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Able to stand & work an 8 hour shift
- Able to lift & carry 50 pounds
- Pass a full background check
- Experience with property maintenance, painting & general handyman work is ideal
Pay:
$20.50- $22.
