Overnight Maintenance Janitor

General Summary- Objective :

Janitor is responsible for maintaining the plant and surroundings in a clean and attractive condition, especially giving priority to machinery cleanliness.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities :

Performs a variety of cleaning procedures: sweeping, mopping, blow-downs, polishing/buffing. Must have a complete knowledge of safety and usage procedures for all cleaning chemicals to be used in the performance of assigned duties. Must Follow OSHA guidelines and compliance Must have knowledge of all equipment to be used in the performance of duties. Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to climb ladders. Cleans dryers following the confined spaces standard. Follows safety guidelines. Cleans employee restrooms & break areas when instructed. Cleans all high-touch surfaces in laundry facility. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager. Able to work in hot and cold environments Able to stand 8-10 hours a day Must be able to follow orders Qualifications/Skills Desired Prefer a minimum of one- year experience in facility maintenance. Must be flexible to work-time, night/weekends. Must be able to regularly lift/move heavy equipment up to 75 lbs. Prefer a licensed driver. Able to use man-lift.
