Clean Arrival is looking for a dependable, experienced, and positive Lead Residential Cleaner to join our team. This is a hands-on field position . Our Lead Cleaners work alongside a small team of cleaners while taking responsibility for keeping the day running smoothly, maintaining our quality standards, communicating with clients, and helping their teammates succeed. We are a growing residential cleaning company, and we are looking for someone who can be trusted to take ownership of their work without needing constant direction. What You'll Do As a Lead Cleaner, you will typically work alongside 1-2 other cleaners in clients' homes. You will be responsible for both cleaning and leading the team throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:
Performing professional residential cleaning Driving company vehicles between jobs Leading and working alongside a small cleaning team Delegating tasks based on the home, team, and time available Training and supporting new and existing employees Keeping the team productive, positive, and on schedule Performing quality-control walkthroughs before leaving each home Communicating directly and professionally with clients Managing unexpected situations or changes during the workday Maintaining cleaning supplies, equipment, and company vehicles Collecting client payments when necessary Occasionally completing smaller cleaning jobs independently Communicating with management about client concerns, scheduling issues, supply needs, or anything else that may affect the day's work What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who is reliable, self-motivated, personable, and comfortable taking the lead. You don't need to know every detail of how we operate on day one—we can train our systems and processes. What is much harder to train is reliability, initiative, good judgment, and the ability to work well with different people.
Required qualifications:
Previous professional cleaning experience Previous experience leading, supervising, training, or managing others Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to safely drive company vehicles Ability to pass a background check Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and coworkers Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential cleaning Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Residential cleaning experience is strongly preferred, but we are also open to candidates with professional experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, or similar environments. Who Will Do Well in This Role You'll likely be a great fit if you: Are a self-starter and notice what needs to be done without always being told Are friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with clients Can give direction without being bossy or disrespectful Know how to encourage coworkers while still holding a team to high standards Can work successfully with different personalities and working styles Stay calm and solution-focused when the day doesn't go exactly as planned Have good time-management skills and can balance speed with quality Take pride in the small details Are comfortable receiving feedback and giving constructive feedback to others Understand that being the lead means taking responsibility for the overall result—not just your portion of the cleaning Our Expectations The cleaning itself isn't overly complicated, and we provide training on how Clean Arrival wants things done. Because of that, our expectations for consistency, reliability, professionalism, and quality are high. We aren't looking for perfection on day one. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, learns quickly, communicates when something isn't going right, and genuinely cares about doing good work. Reliability is especially important in this position. Our clients and other employees depend on the Lead Cleaner to show up, be prepared, and help keep the day running smoothly. Schedule This position currently averages approximately 25-30 hours per week . We are actively growing the company, and our goal is for this position to develop into a full-time role as our schedule grows . Because our schedule is based on client needs, flexibility is important. Daily hours may vary depending on the number, size, and location of scheduled homes.
