DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position helps ensure that the County Maintenance Office and nearby grounds remain clean, safe, and in good working order throughout the winter season. The work supports smooth daily operations and contributes to a well maintained environment. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
Building Cleaning:
Carry out routine cleaning of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
Restroom Care:
Clean restrooms and replace supplies as needed
Grounds Maintenance:
Maintain outside areas by mowing grass, clearing snow, and keeping walkways clean
Waste Removal:
Dispose of waste materials in the correct manner
Minor Repairs:
Perform basic repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building features Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal, full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours will vary with this position as schedule is irregular and rotating.
