• where everyone knows your name. An environmental services technician maintains the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the healthcare facility in which they work. They do so by performing a range of cleaning tasks:
• complete daily cleaning tasks according to department standards
• completes assigned projects efficiently
• utilizes supplies efficiently
• operates equipment safely and posts caution signs as needed
• cleans janitor's closets daily
• follows infection control procedures
• safely handles hazardous materials
• removes trash from facility to designated containers
• perform specialty floor care management for carpeted and hard surfaces
• perform other duties as assigned Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience in a healthcare related environment.

Must be able to follow direction and perform work according to department standards, when no directions are given. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
