Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial and industrial environments. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety guidelines. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment. Support special cleaning projects like deep cleans or post-construction cleanup when required. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and report issues promptly.
