Office Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment in commercial office settings. This role is essential for ensuring that all facilities are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. The shift runs Monday through Saturday 630 am to 1 pm. There is an opportunity for both full time and part time positions. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the office. Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs and upkeep of office equipment. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain a safe working environment. Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as necessary during cleaning operations. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks with attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean workspace efficiently. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management regarding maintenance needs.
