Description Substitute Custodians Needed for the West Jefferson Hills School District for the 2026-2027 School Year. Candidates should be flexible enough to work at any of the schools in the district. These are day-to-day substitute positions. If the candidate is already working, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidate's schedule. Full-time work may be available, especially if the candidate is open to working in other nearby school districts, including the Brentwood Borough or West Mifflin Area School Districts. (In the event the candidate is not seeing enough work in one district, the candidate's schedule can often be filled in with shifts in another district. However, the school districts do not offer overtime.) Custodian hours are typically second shift between the hours of 2:30pm
- 11:30pm, however, there are some daylight shifts that may become available from time to time. It is preferred the qualified candidate has reliable transportation as most schools in the district are not easily accessible by bus. All interested individuals should have some experience. Custodians

PA Child Abuse Clearance
FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education
Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training)
Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete)
Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old)

Additional Requirements:
