A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Position Summary As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for our clients. This role involves routine janitorial duties, restroom sanitation, trash removal, floor care, and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout commercial facilities. Vacuum, sweep, dust mop, and damp mop floors. Dust furniture, fixtures, ledges, and other surfaces. Spot clean glass and interior windows. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and partitions. Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Maintain janitorial closets and cleaning equipment. Report maintenance concerns, damages, or supply shortages. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines. Secure facilities upon completion of service when required. Qualifications Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required. Reliable transportation is required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
