The Custodian performs routine cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and minor facility support activities while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and environmental procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a safe and productive workplace.

Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of manufacturing areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other common spaces. Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and waste collection. Clean and restock restroom supplies while ensuring sanitary conditions are maintained throughout the facility. Collect, sort, and dispose of trash, recyclables, and industrial waste in accordance with company procedures. Operate custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other cleaning tools safely and effectively. Perform minor facility maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, changing air filters, and reporting repair needs. Assist with facility setup, breakdown, and cleanup activities for meetings, events, and special projects. Monitor custodial supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is required. Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience preferred. Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning methods, and safe chemical handling practices. Ability to operate floor care equipment and standard custodial tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, walking, climbing, reaching, and prolonged standing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
