Job Description
In this role you will be: Cleaning and disinfecting occupied and discharged patient rooms Utilizing proper identification and usage of chemicals Cleaning and disinfecting beds and stretchers Entering work orders for maintenance repairs Operating department phones Completing log sheets Identifying and changing cubical curtains as needed Emptying grease carts Performing a terminal clean in the Operating Rooms and Cath labs Collecting and transporting Regular trash and Regulated Medical Waste Emptying all trash and linen bins and replacing liners Replenishing paper supplies and hand hygiene products house wide Transporting, storing, and identifying rental equipment Placement and removal of wet floor signage Adhering to universal precautions and safety protocols Utilizing a variety of machines (vacuum, floor scrubber, buffer, etc.) Utilizing interpersonal skills that allow courteous and effective collaboration with others Utilizing universal precautions Lifting, pushing, pulling, and stretching throughout an entire work shift Able to read and write in order to comprehend assignments, messages, safety, coworkers, and visitors
