A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Varies What's the Job? Perform cleaning and light maintenance tasks including dusting, sweeping, and mopping of classrooms, restrooms, offices, and cafeteria. Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Assist in setting up and taking down furniture for events as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties. What's Needed?
