THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work environments that support daily operations. You will help ensure spaces meet expectations for employees and customers. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

Safety Practices:

Work safely and follow all department safety rules and regulations

Cleaning Tasks:

Maintain neat work areas by sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, and caring for desks and cabinets

Equipment Use:

Operate vacuums, waxers, mops, and other tools to maintain clean and hazard-free areas

Instruction Interpretation:

Apply detailed instructions and independent judgment to complete cleaning tasks to standard

Customer Service:

Interact with employees and customers to provide helpful service and support

Site Support:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework:

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,010.00 (before taxes)
