A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Perform physical work necessary to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, appearance and sanitation in all Hideout amenities and public areas
PRIMARY DUTIES
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors in all facilities on a daily basis. Shampoo carpeted floors and clean windows/mirrors in all facilities on as needed basis. Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, showers and countertops in all facilities on a daily basis. Check and re-stock toilet paper, paper towels and soap dispensers in all facilities on a daily basis. Empty trash and recycling receptacle from restrooms, offices and conference rooms in all facilities on a daily basis. Remove dirt, finger prints, and smudges from interior wall surfaces in all facilities on a daily basis. Sweep patios, decks, ramps and walks on all facilities on a daily basis. Provide Custodian Lead custodial supplies that are to be ordered Dust ledges, windowsills, doors and window trim, ceiling vents and furniture Polish all wood work. Clean and polish all drinking fountains. Strip and wax floors as directed Maintain pride in the property by picking up debris and litter whenever encountered. • Perform additional duties as required.
EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Fill out "Custodial Task Checklist" May occasionally transport and deliver supplies and other light items availability to perform custodial duties during Special Events Basic understanding of commercial building cleaning methods and procedures; Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and chemicals. Ability to operate mechanical cleaning devices. Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, kneel, bend and reach. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is to be used at all times. Maintain a professional looking vehicle. Represent The Hideout in a professional manner Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and smell. Work is performed inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable situations.
