Job Description

Position Summary The Janitorial is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and professional environment within Government facilities in accordance with the contract Statement of Work (SOW), company policies, quality control standards, and customer expectations. The employee performs routine, periodic, and deep cleaning services while safeguarding Government property and maintaining security of the facility. The Janitorial is expected to work independently, demonstrate attention to detail, and perform all assigned duties in a professional manner while representing S3 Solutions One LLC. Work is performed one night per week. Compensation - $21.55 per hour ($15.55 per hour worked PLUS $5.55 per hour for benefits. Background check and fingerprints required for facility access. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Cleaning Vacuum all carpeted areas, entry mats, stairways, and elevators. Sweep and mop hard surface floors using approved cleaning methods and products. Dust furniture, windowsills, counters, partitions, office equipment stands, file cabinets, and other accessible surfaces. Remove cobwebs from ceilings, walls, vents, entrances, porches, and other designated areas. Clean interior and exterior entrance glass. Lift entrance mats and clean beneath them. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas. Restroom Sanitation Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, mirrors, partitions, faucets, and drinking fountains. Wet mop restroom floors, paying close attention to corners, edges, and fixtures. Replenish Government-furnished restroom supplies as required. Notify management when supplies require replenishment. Periodic Cleaning Perform monthly cleaning tasks including stairwells, elevator walls, handrails, utility rooms, interpretive displays, break rooms, and common areas. Perform semi-annual deep cleaning including carpet extraction, interior and exterior window cleaning, wall washing, ceiling vent cleaning, light fixture cleaning, and floor stripping, cleaning, and waxing where required. Security and Administrative Responsibilities Secure all Government facilities upon completion of work. Ensure doors and gates remain secured during and after cleaning. Protect Government property and immediately report damage, safety concerns, lost keys, or security incidents. Complete required cleaning checklists, inspection forms, and other documentation accurately and on time. Report maintenance deficiencies, supply shortages, equipment failures, and customer concerns to management promptly. Performance Standards Performance is evaluated based on: Quality and completeness of assigned cleaning duties. Compliance with the contract Statement of Work. Attendance, punctuality, and reliability. Safety and security compliance. Accuracy and timeliness of required documentation. Customer satisfaction and quality assurance inspection results. Professional conduct and adherence to S3 Solutions One LLC policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous commercial janitorial or custodial experience preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow written procedures and quality standards. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Push and pull cleaning equipment. Reach overhead and below waist level. Perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the work shift.
Work Schedule Frequency:
Once per week
Service Window:
Between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in occupied Government office facilities. Evening, weekends, or after-hours work may be required depending on contract requirements. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying environmental conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as appropriate.
