Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Are you someone who enjoys staying organized, working independently, and helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment? Join our Environmental Services team as an Environmental Services Specialist , where you'll play an important role in supporting residents, team members, and campus operations through furniture coordination, storage management, event setups, and daily environmental services support. This position offers a variety of responsibilities and opportunities to make a meaningful impact across our campus every day. Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate resident furniture moves and storage requests Notify the Environmental Services Supervisor regarding fee-for-service furniture moves for communication with Fiscal Services Maintain par levels of stored furniture and communicate inventory needs Organize and manage storage rooms while evaluating furniture quality and reporting concerns Assist Environmental Services team members with assigned work tasks and preventive cleaning programs Perform laundry and trash collection duties throughout Enhanced Living and Nursing neighborhoods Deliver and stock housekeeping supplies for Environmental Services team members Empty Shred-It bins and coordinate pickup schedules while maintaining confidentiality and security standards Complete daily work orders and assigned operational tasks Assist with room setups, furniture arrangements, and special event support as needed Promote a safe, clean, and organized environment throughout campus What Makes You Successful Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer-focused mindset Dependability and flexibility Effective communication skills Problem-solving and attention to detail Career Growth Opportunity This role offers a potential growth path to Environmental Services Coordinator , providing opportunities to expand leadership and operational responsibilities. Qualifications Required:
Valid driver's license Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to perform physical work including moving furniture and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service
Preferred:
Previous environmental services, facilities, logistics, moving, or operations experience Experience working in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or customer service environments Experience with inventory management or storage coordination
