A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Morning Porter / Dishwasher We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Morning Porter / Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. This is a hands-on daytime position that helps keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for service. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping things spotless, works efficiently, and is comfortable jumping in wherever needed. Responsibilities Complete daytime dishwashing and keep the dish area clean and organized Assist with basic food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed Sweep and mop the entire restaurant Clean and maintain bathrooms throughout the shift Water and care for restaurant plants Keep dining room, kitchen, and other areas clean and orderly Take care of general cleaning and opening tasks Support the kitchen and front-of-house team as needed What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Able to work independently and stay productive Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, sweeping, and mopping Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
