A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

m. Bucks County Community College is seeking a dependable and dedicated Custodian to join our second shift team. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout campus buildings, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors. These services include but are not limited to the cleaning of classrooms, offices and bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows and setting up for events. Overtime is available for large campus functions needing coverage. Work Schedule 2nd

  • Friday). Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1
  • 3 years job-related experience in facility housekeeping procedures.
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license. Must complete a Pennsylvania criminal background check and pre-employment physical & drug screening.
Pay & Benefits Base Starting Salary:
$20.69 + an additional $0.10/hr. + $0.75/hr. shift differential.
