Overview Join Our Team! Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian Team Member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and staff. Our custodial team member plays an essential role in supporting hospital operations by ensuring all public and staff areas are clean, sanitized, and well maintained. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and understand the importance of cleanliness in a veterinary healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you. Duties The Custodian Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the hospital. This includes routine cleaning, waste disposal, stocking restroom supplies, and ensuring all public and staff areas remain safe and presentable Areas to maintain: Lobby and reception area , Lobby exam rooms, Public Lobby bathroom, 4 staff restrooms, second floor common areas, stairs, AC/Heat vents Trash and recycling removal Qualifications Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working in a veterinary hospital environment.
