This Job is for the Weekend Only Saturday & Sunday We are seeking a motivated and diligent Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential spaces. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces Handle industrial cleaning tasks including high dusting, window washing, and deep cleaning of large spaces Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for resolution Use commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols Support other janitorial functions like replenishing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery like floor buffers or carpet extractors safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions throughout shifts Join our team and be part of a vibrant environment where your efforts directly contribute to creating a clean, safe space for everyone.
