Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Porter to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of the common and exterior areas of multi-family buildings in our Portfolio. Duties Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, light janitorial Pick up litter on grounds Operate trash compactors and clear trash chutes Replace light bulbs Assist with snow removal Clean hallways, corridors, stairways, and amenity areas Performs other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to speak, read, and write English Prior porter or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings Minimum one year experience in related field Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Physical Demands Pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs. regularly, 10-15 lbs. frequently or 20-35 lbs. occasionally Frequent walking of buildings. Need to bend, stoop, kneel, and occasionally climb or crawl Normal range of vision, hearing, speech, and smell
