They are grouped into two categories: Job Functions and Professionalism and Style Expectations. A Physical Requirements section follows, outlining expectations applicable to all positions. Each responsibility is assigned a weight indicating the percentage of the job it represents. For performance evaluations, the Core Responsibilities account for 90% of the overall score, while the Professionalism and Style Expectations make up the remaining 10%. Overnight availability, including weekends and holidays, is required. Job Function Cleaning and Facility Operations Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned public areas, back-of-house spaces, and restrooms during overnight hours. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with hotel policies and health regulations. Complete scheduled deep cleaning tasks such as floors, carpets, windows, and high-touch surfaces. Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently to prepare the property for the next day's operations. Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and other amenities in public and employee areas. Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitorial closets, storage areas, and equipment. Follow all standard operating procedures related to cleaning, sanitation, and safety. Support a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Respond promptly to supervisor requests and any overnight service needs. Follow all hotel policies and procedures. Attend all required meetings and trainings. Assist with additional housekeeping or operational duties as assigned. Professionalism and Style Expectations Personal Effectiveness Complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail. Work independently and remain productive during overnight shifts. Adapt to varying workloads and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards. Present a professional appearance and maintain hygiene standards. Work collaboratively with housekeeping staff and other departments. Communication Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management. Document completed tasks and report issues accurately. Follow instructions and ask for clarification when necessary. Share relevant information regarding cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns. Treat co-workers, supervisors, and guests with respect at all times. Physical Requirements These are required of every associate: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach overhead. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals. Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to hear, write, and communicate effectively. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Additional Responsibilities Specific to This Position Must possess working knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical usage. Must have a basic understanding of safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks with minimal supervision. High school education or equivalent experience is preferred. Ability to obtain any required safety or chemical handling certifications in a timely manner. CPR certification is preferred; first aid training is a plus. Additional language proficiency is preferred.
