Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a pristine, organized, and welcoming environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, safety, and overall positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor care procedures to preserve their appearance and safety Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to detail Assist with custodial responsibilities including window washing, surface sanitation, and equipment maintenance Support facilities maintenance activities when needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently while adhering to environmental standards Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing is advantageous Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance will be considered a plus Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is important Previous porter or maintenance roles demonstrating reliability and attention to detail are desirable This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean and safe environment.
