Responsibilities Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies to maintain optimal sanitation standards. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocol guidelines for safe lifting practices and manual handling. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks when required. Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues. Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously, fostering a positive experience for all facility users. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively. Experience operating cleaning equipment and other custodial tools. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in facilities maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques. Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and manual handling tasks.
