Candidates should be flexible enough to work at any of the schools in the districts. These are day-to-day substitute positions. If the candidate is already working, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidate's schedule. Full-time work may be available at times and the potential for the candidates to work every day increases if they are open to working in both districts. During the school year, custodian hours are typically second shift between the hours of 2:30pm -11:30pm, however, there are some daylight shifts that may become available from time to time. (When school is not in session during the summer, custodian hours usually switch to the dayligfht shift.) It is preferred the qualified candidate has reliable transportation as most schools in the district are not easily accessible by bus. All interested individuals should have some cleaning experience. Custodians - $13 - $14 per hour, depending on the district Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126/31 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances?
