Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools effectively and safely. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing. Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal and outdoor surface cleaning when required. Use cleaning detergents safely while adhering to proper manual handling practices for heavy lifting or moving equipment. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Keep detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper usage protocols. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. Experience in laundry management, carpet cleaning, and outdoor surface maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
