Janitorial Services Worker

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene Carry out specialized floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to maintain flooring in optimal condition Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve heavy-duty equipment or hazardous materials following safety protocols Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues to ensure a safe environment Provide porter services such as moving furniture or equipment within the facility as needed for events or maintenance Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure efficient operations Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and sealing is advantageous Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance adds value to your skill set Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and safety standards is beneficial Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning machinery like buffers, extractors, or pressure washers is desirable Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication keeps our spaces pristine and inviting!
