Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness in both commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial environments, including restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are safe and functional. Handle industrial cleaning tasks with appropriate equipment and safety measures. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Follow established protocols for cleaning hazardous materials when necessary. Support special projects such as residential painting or deep cleaning initiatives as directed by management. Outdoor work per season. Weeding and snow removal Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
