Job Summary The houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel. Our hotel guests are our number one priority so maintaining a clean and safe environment as well as assisting with guest amenity as well as light maintenance requests in a timely manner. Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with floor care tasks including buffing and polishing as needed.
• Stocking and rotating linen closets with supplies and linen.
• Maintaining shelf organization in the storage areas
• Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc in the public areas such as lobby, pool, public restrooms, fitness area, guest laundry, and corridors.
• Sweeping and mopping stairwells.
• Removing trash from all public area and office waste cans
• Receiving/counting all deliveries and storing items appropriately
• Mopping tile floors in public areas Skills
• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including buffing and waxing floors.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques can be beneficial for touch-ups as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
