A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job:
FMS has an open position of Custodian at a local K-12 School District. This is a Monday thru Friday position from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM during the school year. Summer hours are 6:30 AM to 3 PM Duties may include: Daily cleaning of hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, offices, gymnasium and restrooms Trash removal Adherence of proper chemical handling procedures Attention to detail
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to read labels to ensure proper chemical usage Good attendance and able to work alone and in a group Ability to lift 40 Lbs.
