• Position Summary:

• The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment after production to ensure food safety, managing the clean-up of all other production areas according to the requirements and procedures of the department.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

• + Hand wash equipment with chemical cleaner and wipe equipment + Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to specifications + Use vacuum cleaner and air gun to clean equipment + Sanitize production lines after cleaning + Remove garbage from production area + Gather and empty trash + Clean floor mopping, sweeping, scrubbing or vacuuming + Keep sanitation equipment/room clean and tidy + Service and clean restrooms if assigned + Clean and polish furniture and a variety of surfaces as assigned + Notify supervisor of any needs for repairs + Ensure food safety and quality + Other duties may be assigned •

Education & Experience Required:

• + High school diploma, GED or equivalent + Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role

• Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

• + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively and efficiently + Ability to speak, read and write English + Must be able to work with chemicals and other cleaning agents + Able to stand and walk around for long periods of time + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

+ Able to work shift work including graveyard shifts and weekends as required + Ability to learn our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
