Job Description
About Us Extraordinary Kids Therapy is a fast-growing pediatric therapy clinic serving children and families throughout Rhode Island. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming, and exceptionally clean environment for the children we serve. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility & Cleaning Assistant to help maintain our clinic and keep our spaces looking their absolute best. Schedule Approximately 10 hours per week Monday-Friday evenings Flexible schedule after clinic hours Approximately 2 hours per day Responsibilities Daily Tasks Vacuum and mop therapy rooms and common areas Clean and sanitize bathrooms Empty trash and recycling Wipe and sanitize treatment tables, desks, and frequently touched surfaces Maintain waiting room cleanliness and organization Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed Weekly Tasks Clean glass doors and windows Dust shelves, furniture, and treatment equipment Sanitize toys and therapy materials Organize storage and supply areas Spot clean walls and doors Occasional Tasks Deep cleaning projects Seasonal organization Light facility upkeep Assisting with special events or clinic projects Qualifications Reliable and trustworthy Able to work independently Strong attention to detail Prior cleaning, custodial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience preferred Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Must be comfortable working in a pediatric environment BCI Required Ideal Candidate This position is perfect for: Retired school custodians Retired teachers or school staff Stay-at-home parents seeking evening hours College students Anyone looking for a flexible second job We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, organized spaces and understands the importance of maintaining a welcoming environment for children and families.
